Wilmington and its environs are the focus of the
images presented in this portfolio. George has found the stunning
beauty of eastern North Carolina an inspiration for creating new and
exciting images of this diverse area. New images will be continually
added for your enjoyment, and all images are available for purchase.
George studied photography at ICP (The
International Center for Photography) in New York City. His initial
photographic efforts were in nature and landscape photography. He
traveled extensively photographing animals and their environs in
Tanzania and Kenya, the rainforests and native peoples along the Amazon
River, the ancient monuments and cities of Egypt, the islands of the
Galapagos, and the stunning buildings and vistas of both western and
eastern Europe.
In 1994, George opened a studion in New York City
and shifted the emphasis of his work to still-life photography for the
fashion and beauty industries. After fourteen years as a still-life
photographer, George moved to Wilmington and continues to pursue his
interest in photography.
