November 26, 2011 (Saturday): North Carolina Holiday Flotilla Art and Crafts Show at Wrightsville Beach from 10:00 am - 4:00 pm.

October 22, 2011 (Saturday): Wilmington Art Association Fine Art and Crafts Show at Mayfaire Center from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm.

October 15, 16, 2011 (Saturday and Sunday): 23rd Annual Autum with Topsail Artand Crafts Show at Topsail Beach from from 9:00 am - 5:00 pm.

April to December, 2011: George will be displaying his photographs at both the Poplar Grove and the Riverfront Farmers' Markets. The Poplar Grove market is every Wednesday from 8 am to 1 pm, and the Riverfront market is the first and third Saturday of every month from 8 am to 1 pm. Both markets are open April through December, 2009. Master Card and Visa accepted.

Sunday, April 17, 2011 through September, 2011 - The Sunday Scene: every Sunday afternoon in Riverfront Park from 4 pm until 8 pm. The Sunday Scene is an open-air arts and crafts fair with local vendors displaying and selling their creations. Also featured is local entertainment.

| September 9, 10, 11, 2011: Landfall Foundation Juried Art Show - George won a Best In Category for his framed 24"x 30" photograph (giclee print on canvas) entitled Lynn's Flowers.

May28 &29, 2011: The Orange Street Art Show and Sale sponsored by The Thalian Association and The Community Arts Center is to take place on May 28 and May 29 in downtown Wilmington. The festival will remain at its namesake location on Orange Street between Front and Second Streets. Artsfest 2011 showcases a variety of art and artists from around the southeastern United States. George will be displaying both framed and bin images.

| April 8, 9, & 10, 2011- 28th Annual Juried Spring Art Show and Sale: Each spring, during the North Carolina Azalea Festival, the Wilmington Art Association presents its annual juried show and sale. This years event is at Perry Hall of St. James Church, 313 Dock Street, Wilmington. Two images were presented for judging and sale as 32"x40" framed Giclee prints (ink on canvas). Of the appoximately 200 art pieces judged, George's White Callalies won second place photography.

| September 19-20, 2010: George won the First place prize and ribbon - Photography - for his "Virginia Creek" photograph taken in Hampstead (Pelican Reef) at The Creative Artists of Hampstead Fine Arts and Crafts Exhibition and Sale at the historic Poplar Grove Plantation. George also won the First place prize and ribbon - Photography - last year at the Hampstead Fine Arts and Crafts Exhibition for his photography "Surf, Sea and Gulls" taken at Surf City (Topsail Beach).

May 25, 2008: The Orange Street Art Show and Sale sponsored by The Thalian Association and The Community Arts Center took place on May 24 and May 25 in downtown Wilmington. Artsfest 2008 showcased a variety of art and artists from around the southeastern United States. Of the 75 artists represented at Artsfest 2008, George received the third Place ribbon and prize for his photography and, during the show and sale, sold 35 photographic pieces.
